Young Man Gets 5 years for Defrauding Other Blacks as Phony Hedge Fund Founder

LINKEDIN Manhattan fraudster Fredrick D. Scott has been sentenced to 63 months in prison.



This young man from Manhattan who made folks believe he was the “youngest African-American hedge fund founder in history,” was sentenced to 63 months in prison by a federal judge. The judge also blasted the Bureau of Prisons for allowing this young con man to teach a course on finance to fellow inmates. His name is Frederick Douglas Scott and his life was one big lie which he continued trying to convince people, even in Brooklyn Federal Court to the judge, of all people.
