Teachers in Atlanta School Cheating Scandal Plead Not Guilty

All 35 of the Atlanta educators indicted in the school district's cheating scandal, have made their point to fight the charges against them. The former head of the school district, Beverly Hall joined, 20 other defendants Friday, entering not guilty pleas.

We are just utterly appalled at how some of these teachers were so scandalous to lose all credibility and respect for their positions. We are praying they really learn from their actions and do better going forward.

A former fifth-grade teacher implicated in a cheating scandal reportedly gave students the illegal assistance because she thought they were "dumb as hell."

According to the AJC, math teacher Shayla Smith formerly of Dobbs Elementary School was accused of offering students the answers to a test they were taking at the time.
