Denver Preschool Director Resigns After Teacher David Moe Arrested on Child Porn Charges

The director of Paddington Station preschool has stepped down from her position after an employee at the school was arrested, accused of possessing child pornography.

David Moe was arrested and is held in jail on child porn accusations. He is facing federal charges. Many parents claim the school’s administrators knew about the questionable nature of one of its teachers.

“I think my daughter is okay but I think about all the kids that might not be,” former Paddington parent Shannon Perret said.

On Friday parents gathered for an emotional meeting.

“I’m angry at what I perceive as an environment that allowed this to perpetuate,” former Paddington parent Kelly Ramsdale said.

A lawyer for the parents is investigating whether the director who resigned and the suspect are long-time friends.

Denver Preschool Teacher Exposed: Kept 800 Page Journal of Sexual Behavior with Students

If you take a look at this man, would you have him teach your child anything? Apparently the staff and parents trusted him with their precious little ones. Dave Moe, a 45 year old preschool teacher had been teaching at a Denver area preschool for 19 years when Police discovered he had been keeping an 800 journal recording “hugs and touches”:

David Moe wrote in his journal that he held a preschool girl “by the waist briefly, and she didn’t flinch.”

In another entry, he said of a little girl, “I was overly affection [sic] with her, but I love her so.”
Over 800 pages, Moe – a former preschool teacher at Paddington Station School in Denver – detailed brief moments of affection with his students.

Moe, 45, is currently on trial for possession of child porn, KUSA-TV reported. Federal prosecutors say the journal shows that he was indulging in “grooming behavior.”
