Mayor Tony Mack Convicted in Corruption Sting

 



The mayor of New Jersey’s capital city Tony Mack was removed from office by a judge last week; 19 days after a jury found him guilty of corruption as part of a government sting. Trenton Mayor Tony Mack, 48,was fighting to remain in office until his sentencing in May while also seeking to have his conviction thrown out.

Political Consultant Convicted in Robocall Conspiracy

A judge has ruled that a political consultant convicted in a robocall conspiracy violated his probation by filing to run for state Senate....Baltimore Circuit Court Judge Emanuel Brown ruled on Thursday that Julius Henson must serve four months for the probation violation. Brown suspended his order for 30 days so Henson can appeal.
